Welcome to Little Smiles Dental Pediatric Dentistry
At Little Smiles Dental, we offer a comprehensive range of services—from preventive care to treatment—all designed with the highest standard of care for you and your child in mind. Our office, inspired by the wonders of the ocean, offers a range of services from routine check-ups and cleanings to specialized treatments ensuring the dental health of your little ones. Our dedicated team is committed to making every visit enjoyable, helping to ease any worries and fostering a positive relationship with dental care.
The first dental examination is typically performed at around 12 months of age. This is usually an information gathering session that allows us to counsel parents about teething, pacifiers, thumb-sucking, proper feeding, oral hygiene techniques, fluoride status, the effects of diet on the dentition, and injury prevention.

Dental Cleanings
Gentle, thorough dental cleanings help remove plaque and buildup, keeping your child’s teeth healthy and their smile bright. We focus on comfort while promoting strong oral hygiene habits from an early age. Routine evaluations should be performed every six months, beginning at 1 year of age.
X-Ray Imaging
Safe, low-radiation digital imaging allows us to monitor your child’s dental development and detect concerns early—often before they’re visible to the eye.
Personalized Guidance and Specialist Advice
We provide expert clinical guidance tailored to your child’s unique needs, offering preventive strategies, developmental insights, and trusted recommendations to support lifelong oral health.
Sealants
Dental sealants are a quick, protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth to help prevent cavities in hard-to-reach areas.
Fluoride Treatments
Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral found in water, soil, and many foods. Fluoride makes tooth enamel more resistant to acid attacks from bacteria and sugars. It helps stop early tooth decay and can even reverse very early stages before they become cavities. It plays a key role in protecting and strengthening teeth—especially in children whose teeth are still developing.
Restorative Care
When dental issues arise, we provide gentle, effective restorative treatments to protect your child’s oral health and comfort. Our services include tooth-colored fillings for cavities, crowns to restore and strengthen damaged teeth, and pulp therapy (baby root canals) to treat infection while preserving the natural tooth. When necessary, we perform careful tooth extractions and offer space maintainers to ensure proper alignment as your child’s smile continues to develop. Our approach always prioritizes your child’s comfort while restoring healthy, confident smiles.
